Just when you thought the holiday season had come to a close, the fashion industry is embarking on another very important time of year – award season! You might have caught the Critic’s Choice Awards on VH1 which officially kicked off the season last week. (Take a look at Mandy Moore wearing Ben-Amun’s Maharaji earrings on our in the news page!)
Although the stars like to wear “real” diamonds and crystals, here at Ben-Amun we love that we can get the same luxury look with costume jewelry without spending a fortune. Here are some of our favorites from last night…

One of our favorite moments from the show was watching Lea Michele during her Glee co-star Chris Colfer’s acceptance speech for his award for best supporting actor. She truly looked like the Broadway star she is! We loved how she paired a contrasting Emerald Cocktail Ring with her light pink dress.

We’ve long been fans of Claire Danes since her first Golden Globe win for My So-Called Life. She accepted Globe number two last night and reminded us just how much we loved her in this girly and chic salmon halter gown. A simple Gold Engraved Cuff gave her look just the right amount of shine.
Anytime Project Runway is on hiatus, we go through Heidi withdraw. Although we think that she could pull off a paper bag and still look fab, we thought this colorful flowing maxi was a little too colorful with the clashing red carpet… we will however be stealing the look of her accessories with some of our latest Stackable Resin Bangles for summer.

One of our favorite shows to discuss around the office on Thursday mornings is the hysterical Modern Family. The sitcom’s Sarah Hyland’s necklace reminded us how much we love this statement necklace from our Jonquil Yellow Deco Collection.
As much as we love our jewelry here at Ben-Amun, of course there is always an exception to the rule… Anne Hathaway and (my personal favorite) Olivia Wilde’s sparkly gowns were showstoppers on their own and only needed barely there jewelry!
Either way, we can never get enough sparkle! We can’t wait to see what the stars will wear for the Grammy’s… stay tuned for our favorites in February!
