Behind the Scenes at Ben-Amun: 2012.03

Although winter has decided to return for a (hopefully brief) encore, we are in the midst of Spring Break season, which means we’re in the midst of over-packing. Whether you’re destined for Mexico, Florida, or China with Ben-Amun, the need to accessorize is non-negotiable, but for us single ladies carrying our own bags, those accessories can get heavy. So, in an effort not to herniate any discs we’ve decided to help you edit your vacation jewelry box. That said, you should know that here at Ben-Amun leaving jewelry behind when we travel is not exactly what we do best, though travel is something we’ve been doing a lot of lately.

While Ben-Amun has always been an internationally minded brand, between Isaac’s Egyptian roots and his world art inspirations, in the past year our global presence has expanded to include famed department stores that you’re likely to pop into should you find yourself abroad. For instance, should your destination be Paris you can find us at Le Bon Marche. Today's Spring Equinox marks the end of this lackluster winter, and while we’re eagerly awaiting the opportunity to change over our wardrobes and bloom like roses, we’re feeling a bit nostalgic for the season that forgot to pass. It’s true, as I put away my puffer jacket, I begin to think of all the things that this winter didn’t allow me to do, like go dog sledding.
