It’s a Party, and You’re Invited!

With summer practically upon us it’s time to start paring down layers of clothing and piling on layers of bracelets. That’s right people, my personal favorite style-choice—the double-wrist, multi-bracelet “arm party” will be trendy as ever this summer. For those not familiar with the term “arm party” it’s a festive phrase coined by Man Repeller blogger Leandra Medine to describe the fabulous jewelry rendezvous you assemble on your wrist.

And when I say rendezvous, I mean rendezvous, because the best arm parties bring bracelets together that sans stacking, would never have a chance to join forces in one outfit. It gets better! While here at Ben-Amun we’re always in favor of a complete jewelry box revamp, assembling your own arm party doesn’t have to mean starting from scratch with the guest list. Happy May Day!



Happy May Day everyone! In honor of the holiday, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite things about May, all of which make us want to dance around a maypole.

1. May Day: Obviously the first on the list, this mysterious holiday revolves around flowers, ribbons, and carousing. What’s not to love about that? Think white sundress, a daisy chain in your hair, and this necklace from the Opulent collection.

2. Cinco de Mayo: Another foggily understood holiday that we love. Wikipedia will tell you that depending on which side of the border your fiesta occurs, Cinco de Mayo celebrates Mexican heritage and pride, the cause of freedom and democracy during the American Civil War, and the Mexican victory at the Battle of Puebla. Your friends will tell you that it celebrates margaritas, a variety of salsas, and Frida Kahlo inspired wardrobe choices.
